Halloween is right around and we know that costumes can get expensive fast. You don’t want to spend a lot of time and money planning your costume but you also don’t want to be the only one at the party without a costume. For all you lazy party-goers you’re in luck because I’m about to give you a few cheap and easy Halloween costume ideas.
Let’s start out with some of the Classics:
You can find a pair of cat ears and even a tail for around $5 or less at Wal-Mart or the Dollar Store. Use an eyeliner pencil to draw whiskers and a cat nose. Wear all black and you’re good to go!
All right, this is probably the easiest costume on here. Wear an all black outfit, a dress or pant and shirt combo, and buy a cheap witch hat. Paint your face green if you really want to get crazy.
The Sports Fan
Actually, THIS is the easiest costume on here. You literally don’t have to buy anything. All you have to do is wear all the clothes you have of your favorite sports team. Guys, this one is for you. It will be like you never even dressed up.
Throw on a pair of fake vampire teeth; add some fake blood and you’re basically good to go. You can wear all black for a more classic vampire look or wear your regular clothes for more of an Edward Cullen feel.
For those of you who are into pop culture; here are a few cheap Halloween costumes for you:
Eleven From Stranger Things
You’re going to need to raid your local thrift store for a pink dress, blue jacket and white sneakers if you don’t already have any of those things in your closet. If you don’t have blond hair you can buy this cheap $10 wig from Wal-mart. Have some fake blood coming out of your nose and of course Eggo Waffles and people will be sure to know exactly who you are.
Holly Golightly From Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Chances are, you already have a little black dress and a flashy necklace in your closet. Style your hair in a classy bun and add a cheap tiara to finish the look.
For all the guys reading this, you already have a pair of tan colored pants and a collared shirt in your closet. If you don’t have a hat and leather jacket, check your local thrift store for those. If you really want to go the extra mile, get a whip to complete the rugged look!
You already have a black suit and white shirt all you need to buy is a black bow tie. Carry around a fake pistol and strike poses all night long. You’ll be the classiest best looking guy at the party.
If none of these are hitting home to you get creative! Think of your favorite things and how you can make them into a fun Halloween costume. It’s probably easier than you think.
